6½ x 11, also known as Six et demi, onze (1927) - a silent French melodrama directed by Jean Epstein, based on a scenario by his sister, Marie Epstein. The story follows two brothers who both fall in love with the same woman. The title, 6½ x 11, is a reference to a film negative format and the story's theme of repeating patterns, as the second brother's story mirrors the first's.
